Terrell Owens in suicide attempt

Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens tried to kill himself yesterday morning with an overdose of pain killers. He was found by a friend while putting two more pills in his mouth, telling him he had already swallowed the whole content of the bottle which his friend found empty.
When asked by authorities if he had tried to harm himself, Owens simply replied “Yes”.

Owens has only just undergone surgery for a broken finger, incident which took place on Sept 17th during the game against the Washington Redskins. Owens has enjoyed an 11 year career in the league so far, and is notorious for his wild stunt and other flamboyant behavior on the field. He signed a 3 year contract in March for $25 million with the Cowboys. Although eager to bring attention to himself, Owens has never had a red flag or been involved in any kind of problems during his career.

NFL never misses to bring so much emotion, whether on or away from the fields.
